History

Our institute was established in 1983 as Anadolu University Health Sciences Institute in order to organize and supervise postgraduate education in the relevant departments of the Faculties of Medicine and Pharmacy in accordance with the provisions of Articles 3/1, 19, 50 and 65 of the Higher Education Law No. 2547.

Our Institute, which provides services from Anadolu University due to the establishment of Eskişehir Osmangazi University in 1993, has been reorganized to provide Master's and Doctoral Education and Training in 23 Departments affiliated with the Rectorate of Eskişehir Osmangazi University. Our Institute, which has graduated 458 Master's and 233 PhD students (691 students in total) since its establishment, trains knowledgeable, researcher and talented faculty members in the field of Health Sciences.

The fact that we have graduates working in academic positions as Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors and Lecturers at Eskişehir Osmangazi University Faculty of Medicine and other Faculties, Anadolu University Faculty of Pharmacy and many other Universities reveals the quality of the Postgraduate Education provided at our Institute. As a result of the research and studies carried out in our institute, 559 Master's and Doctoral theses were prepared, some of them were evaluated as research projects, and some were published as articles in international journals.
